These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the SunSud Tours website (www.sunsudtours.com) and the services provided by SunSud Tours.
By booking any service with SunSud Tours, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms in full. Please read them carefully before making a reservation.

  1. Services Offered

SunSud Tours is a boutique travel agency based in Crete, specializing primarily in:

  • Personalized Private Tours across Crete, carefully designed and tailor-made according to your interests, pace, and preferences.
  • Personalized Transfers, offered as a supporting service, either as standalone transportation or combined with sightseeing stops upon request.

All services are provided exclusively and privately for your party.

  1. Tour Bookings
  • Private tours may be requested through the SunSud Tours website inquiry form, email, WhatsApp, or phone.
  • You may be asked to provide your name, contact details, preferred date, pickup location, number of participants, and any special interests or requirements.
  • Based on your request, SunSud Tours will prepare a custom itinerary and a personalized price offer.
  • A booking is considered confirmed only once you accept our written offer and the stated payment terms.
  1. Transfer Bookings
  • Transfers may be booked by providing pickup and drop-off locations, date, and time of service.
  • Written confirmation will be sent once your booking is accepted by SunSud Tours.
  • Transfers may be upgraded to include sightseeing stops or extended routing upon request and subject to availability.

Guests are responsible for informing SunSud Tours in advance of excess or special luggage (e.g. sports equipment, strollers, mobility aids, or more than one large suitcase per person) to ensure appropriate vehicle allocation.

  1. Cancellations & Refunds

Tours

  • Cancellations made at least 48 hours before the scheduled start time are eligible for a full refund of any prepaid amount.
  • Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the tour start time, or in the case of a no-show, are non-refundable.

Transfers

  • Cancellations made at least 24 hours before the scheduled pickup time are eligible for a full refund.
  • Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled pickup time, or in the case of a no-show, are non-refundable.

Cruise Ship Guests
You are responsible for verifying your cruise ship’s correct docking port and arrival time.
SunSud Tours is not responsible for missed services due to incorrect port selection, late disembarkation, or last-minute itinerary changes made by cruise lines.

  1. Waiting Time & Late Arrivals

Complimentary waiting times are defined as follows:

  • Airport & Ferry Port Pickups (Transfers): up to 60 minutes after the scheduled pickup time, allowing for luggage collection and customs.
  • Cruise Port Pickups (Tours): up to 20 minutes from the scheduled tour start time.
  • Hotel, Villa & Other Pickups: up to 10 minutes from the scheduled pickup time.

If you anticipate a delay, please contact SunSud Tours immediately.
After the complimentary waiting period, the driver may leave and the service will be treated as a no-show, with no refund issued.

  1. Guest Responsibilities

By booking with SunSud Tours, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete booking details.
  • Carefully verify your pickup location, especially when arriving by cruise ship.
  • Monitor your cruise, flight, or ferry itinerary for possible last-minute changes.
  • Be present and ready at the agreed meeting point at the scheduled time.

Parents or guardians are responsible for requesting child or booster seats at the time of booking, in accordance with Greek road safety regulations.

  1. Service Availability & Force Majeure

All tours and transfers are subject to availability.
SunSud Tours reserves the right to amend or cancel a service due to force majeure events, including but not limited to extreme weather, strikes, road closures, or government or port authority restrictions.

If SunSud Tours cancels a service for such reasons, any prepaid amount will be fully refunded, minus any non-refundable third-party costs already incurred on the guest’s behalf (such as pre-purchased winery tickets, specialized tastings, or entrance fees).

  1. Liability

SunSud Tours is not liable for delays caused by traffic conditions, weather, or events beyond our control.
We are not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal belongings.

SunSud Tours reserves the right to refuse or terminate service to guests displaying inappropriate behavior or intoxication. Guests may be held financially responsible for cleaning or repair costs resulting from negligent or intentional damage.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for personal injury or death caused by proven negligence on our part.

  1. Payments

For direct bookings, payment terms (deposit, balance on the day, card or cash payment) will be clearly outlined in your personalized offer.
Proceeding with payment confirms acceptance of both the service details and these Terms.

  1. Privacy

Your use of the SunSud Tours website and services is governed by our Privacy Policy.
By booking with SunSud Tours, you consent to the collection and use of your personal data as described there.

  1. Dispute Resolution

In the rare event of a disagreement, please contact SunSud Tours directly so we may work toward a fair and reasonable solution.
Reviews are welcome and appreciated, provided they reflect an accurate account of the service delivered.

  1. Changes to These Terms

SunSud Tours may update these Terms from time to time.
Updates will be posted on this page, and continued use of our services implies acceptance of the revised Terms.
