Booking Your Experience

How do I book a private tour with SunSud Tours?

Private tours are our core service. You may either choose from our promoted itineraries or request a fully custom-made tour from scratch.

Option A – Choose a promoted tour:

  • Select a tour from our website
  • Contact us via the tour page, WhatsApp, Email, or Phone
  • We provide a personalized offer and availability
  • Once you approve the offer and payment terms, the tour is confirmed

After booking, we can further fine-tune the itinerary based on your pace and interests.
Completing payment confirms acceptance of the agreed itinerary details and our Terms & Conditions.

Option B – Create a tour from scratch:

  • Submit an inquiry with your date, group size, pickup location, and interests
  • SunSud Tours designs a fully custom itinerary
  • You receive a custom quote; upon approval, your tour is confirmed

Are the promoted tours fixed itineraries?

No. They are structured frameworks, not rigid programs. Each includes a defined route and highlights, but offers:

  • Built-in options: Choose between cultural, nature, or food-focused elements
  • Flexible pacing: Adjust the time spent at specific locations or the order of stops within the overall duration of the experience
  • Post-booking personalization: We fine-tune the details once your host and timing are secured

How do I book a private transfer?

Provide pickup and drop-off locations, date, time, passenger count, and luggage details.

Based on your group size, we will confirm the suitable vehicle categories available (e.g., sedan, van, or minibus), and you may choose your preferred option where applicable.

We then confirm availability, final vehicle type, and price in writing.

 

Service Details

Can a transfer include sightseeing stops?

Yes. We call this an “Enriched Transfer.”

  • Stops can be added along the route according to your interests and available time (attractions, viewpoints, villages, coffee or meal stops, short walks, etc.), and should be communicated during booking so routing and timing can be properly planned.
  • The service remains a transfer from Point A to Point B with optional stops, rather than a structured hosted sightseeing day.

If you want a continuously guided experience with interpretation and a curated daily structure, we recommend booking a Private Tour.

Are your tours led by licensed archaeological guides?

Our hosts are experienced local professionals providing cultural and historical context throughout your journey.

Per Greek law, only licensed archaeological guides may guide inside certain archaeological sites.
We can arrange a licensed guide for these specific sites upon request (subject to availability and additional cost).

Are tours shared with other guests?

No. All SunSud Tours experiences are 100% private, exclusively for your party.

Logistics & Policies

What are the waiting times for pickups?

We include complimentary waiting time to allow for minor delays:

  • Airports & Ferry Ports (Transfers): up to 60 minutes after landing/docking 
  • Cruise Ports (Tours): up to 20 minutes from scheduled start time
  • Hotels, Villas & Residences: up to 10 minutes from pickup time

Exceeding these limits may result in a no-show status (non-refundable).

Cruise Ship Arrivals

Cruise passengers must verify the correct docking port and arrival time directly with their cruise line.
SunSud Tours cannot be responsible for missed services due to incorrect port selection, delayed disembarkation, or last-minute itinerary changes made by the cruise operator.

What happens if my flight or ferry is delayed?

Transfers: We monitor arrivals and include up to 60 minutes complimentary waiting time after landing/docking.

Tours: Pickup times are fixed. Significant delays may affect the itinerary. Please contact us via WhatsApp or phone immediately if you anticipate a delay.

What is your cancellation policy?

  • Private Tours: Free cancellation up to 48 hours before the start time
  • Private Transfers: Free cancellation up to 24 hours before pickup

Cancellations inside these windows or no-shows are non-refundable.

Routes, timing, or stops may be adjusted due to weather conditions, strikes, road closures, or authority restrictions.

Payments & Extras

What payment methods do you accept?

Private Tours: Payment terms are outlined in your offer — typically a secure payment link or a combination of card deposit and cash balance.

Private Transfers: Secure payment link or cash, as agreed during booking.

Completing payment confirms acceptance of the service details and booking terms.

Are there any additional charges?

We believe in transparent pricing.

Included: Vehicle, driver/host, fuel, and standard service
Not Included: Third-party costs such as winery tastings, entrance fees, or specialized activities unless explicitly stated in your offer
