The best tour guide in Greece A truly wonderful and unique experience!!! George is delightful. He is very knowledgeable on the history and culture of Cretan society. The tour takes in some very special spots that should not be missed … the Koutailotiko Gorge was amazingly beautiful only to be surpassed by the stunning and idyllic visit to Kalypso Beach. Perfect day in Chaina I can’t say enough about the fantastic day we had in Chania & the surrounding area. From the very start our experience was perfect. Our host/driver kept in close communication with us-as we were coming in on a cruise ship this is So important. Because we had a private driver the entire day catered to our interests and needs. Highlights for us were visiting the WWII allied cemetery, Olive oil tour & tasting, The Holy Trinity Monastery with (delicious) wine tasting among other sites and spectacular scenic views. Perfect Half-Day Taste of Crete!! We had a wonderful half-day trip in Heraklion and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. We started with a relaxing stop at a beautiful small beach, followed by visits to a traditional pottery workshop and an olive mill, where we learned about local Cretan craftsmanship and olive oil production. The highlight was definitely the magnificent Palace of Knossos, with its incredible history and fascinating ruins. Amazing Crete Tour with an Outstanding Guide! Amazing one-day tour from Heraklion to Chania Old Town and some of Crete’s top sights! Everything was well organized, enjoyable, and a great way to experience the beauty of the island. George, our tour operator, was absolutely amazing—friendly, knowledgeable, and very helpful throughout the day. The BEST of Crete! Excellent half day spent enjoying Minoan ruins, olive oil, ceramics, a charming village, a monastery and KITTENS! George was a friendly and knowledgeable guide who provided interesting details about olive oil production and so much more! This tour offers flexibility and a perfect balance of history, culture and relaxation. We also were thrilled to encounter the adorable kittens at the olive oil tasting. Personalized tour of Kourtaliotiko gorge and Kalypso Beach We had great communication with our guide -which was important as we were at the mercy of our cruise ship arrival. Our guide & driver, Dimitris, met us in a spotless, air conditioned van with fresh cold water. And from there we had the best day ever! We were able to get into the gorge (breath-taking views), we visited Kalypso Beach, we had lunch at a charming Taverna with home cooked Cretan spécialités ( or could have visited another beach). We learned so much about Crete! The best part was that Dimitris was responsive to our requests and made every effort to accomadate us. It was like touring with a good friend! Fantastic waterfalls experience We had a fabulous day trip with George visiting the Gorge and Kalypso beach. He has an amazing knowledge of Crete and its history. Outstanding George was an outstanding tour guide. He is extremely knowledgeable and made our experience one we will never forget. The whole day was thought out well and my highlight would be walking the gorge and swimming in the waterfall. I could not recommend George and his tour highly enough.
