High in the mountains, where time slows down, a Shepherd welcomes us into his world. We walk through the farm, meeting the animals, harvesting fresh vegetables, and milking the goats—embracing the rhythm of life in the wild. Beneath the shade of thick stone walls, we warm fresh milk to craft traditional cheese by hand and prepare ‘Kalitsounia Pie’ for dessert. As the fire crackles, the famous ‘Antikristo’—slow-grilled goat—cooks to perfection, paired with homegrown flavors, crisp greens, and handmade cheeses. Every bite captures the essence of Crete, while every sip of homemade wine carries the stories of the land. The scent of ‘Kalitsounia Pie’ drizzled with honey fills the air, alongside the sweet taste of seasonal fruits and a shot of Raki. And when it’s time to leave, the Shepherd’s farewell lingers: May you go well, and may you be as strong as the high mountains!

Sfendoni Cave offers a mesmerizing guided tour through one of Crete’s most stunning underground wonders. As you walk its well-lit paths, expert guides reveal the secrets of its ancient stalactites and stalagmites, shaped over thousands of years. Hidden beneath the Psiloritis mountain range, this geological masterpiece tells a silent yet powerful story of time, nature, and mystery. A must-visit for those seeking a glimpse into Crete’s hidden depths. Please note that due to the nature of the cave’s terrain, this attraction is not suitable for travelers with kinetic problems, who will be asked to comfortably wait at the cafe.
